[PAIN GIRL (PILOT)]

From a visuals standpoint this is really nice - good character designs, animation, style, it's all great. The writing and pacing is where it starts to fall off a bit. There's not much motive for, well, anything, the jokes fell a bit flat, and there's lots of awkwardly long moments where not much is happening at all; it honestly felt like they were only there for the sake of runtime, but I can't be sure. This isn't to say I wouldn't like to see the series continue, though. It's only a pilot after all. I think the idea is fun and could definitely join the big leagues in the indie animation scene, it just needs some work first.

The vibe, style, character designs, and animation is stunning.
Audio mixing could use some work tho. Felt weirdly quiet in parts - especially during the high action scenes where you'd expect a lot of chaotic noise.
Regardless of all that, I loved it! Consider me a fan.
